The weapon shown is the Extra-Luxe version of the Sagittaire Polynox with extractor.
The Polynox system makes your weapon truly polyvalent as it allows the barrel length to be changed (from +3 cm to +5 cm) by increasing it using a set of interchangeable chokes known as "Chokinox".
 
TRULY POLYVALENT
WOODLAND - FIELD - WATER FOWL
WOODLAND HUNTING:
 [1] 68 cm BARREL 
In rough ground or in woodland where reflex shooting is used, this is the best length.
FIELD HUNTING:
 [2] 71 (68 cm + 3 cm) BARREL 
To shoot small game, birds or animals, at short to medium distances in open land, the 71 cm barrel is best.
WATER FOWL HUNTING:
 [3] 73 (68 cm + 5 cm) BARREL     
When long range becomes essential, this is the best barrel length.

3 TYPES OF HUNTING
The interchangeable chokes are available in three lengths (internal, +3 cm and +5 cm).
They allow barrel length to be changed between 68 and 73 cm.

EVOLVING BARRELS
They measure 68 cm but can be extended to 73 cm. The chambers are 76 mm long which allows any type of ammunition to be used. They are of course steel shot PROOFED. Verney-Carron was the forefigure for this material.

STOCK AND FOREND
Polished and oiled walnut. The stock with its pistol grip is fitted with unlimited rotation sling swivels. The cross-hatching ensures good handling.

SIGHTS
The sights consist of a grooved ventilated non-reflecting 7 cm rib and a luminous foresight.
